5 Best Class B RVs

Top Selections Featuring Comfort, Versatility, and Affordability

If you’re new to the van life world, you might be overwhelmed by the idea of a van conversion. These take a lot of time, skill, and effort to complete and many people prefer to buy a pre-made travel van instead. Luckily, there are lots of camper vans (aka Class B RVs) that can get you where you need to go. We’ll talk about 5 of the best Class B RVs in the breakdown below.

A Class B RV is perfect for people who want the comforts of an RV and the mobility of a van. These vehicles are easier to drive, park, and maneuver compared to their larger counterparts. They come in a range of shapes and styles, but the 5 models below all stand out in some way. Check out the list and see if you have a personal favorite.

Tiffin Cahaba: Debut Model

Tiffin is a motorhome manufacturer that is primarily known for its large luxury coaches. However, now they’re bringing their skills together to create a comfortable and compact model: the Tiffin Cahaba. This is a new entry, but it’s sure to be one of the best Class B RVs on the market.

The Cahaba is the first Class B RV Tiffin has made, and there is only one floor plan so far. However, customers can add optional packages to their build if they want to enjoy additional features. For example, the optional LED light package includes extra bright lights installed on the roof of the van.

Behind the driver’s cabin, there’s a small hallway. One wall contains the wet bath, while the other has the kitchen setup. Each Cahaba kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and sink.

The rear section of the floor plan hosts a pair of sofas that can convert into a single large bed. Overhead cabinets line both back walls as well. Customers can choose to replace these couches with a single tri-fold sofa bed if they would prefer. If you’d like to learn more about the TIffin Cahaba, visit its home page here.

The Rugged Winnebago Revel Class B RV

If you’re interested in traveling off the beaten path, the Winnebago Revel is one of the best Class B RVs for off-roading. It’s a rugged and sturdy vehicle that can handle bumpy roads with ease. Each Revel is outfitted with sturdy off-roading tires and a powerful engine.

Like the Cahaba above, there’s only one floor plan for this model, but it’s more than enough for most customers.

This vehicle is compact and is only 19 feet, 7 inches long. The floor plan is impressive because it fits a lot of amenities and comforts into this limited space. For starters, there’s a two-person bench seat behind the driver’s cabin. This faces a removable pedestal table, creating a perfect area for work or dining.

A kitchenette sits along one wall. There’s room for a pantry, sink, pull-out induction cooktop, refrigerator, and a removable countertop extension. A decent amount of workspace is available, even when the extension is put away.

The bathroom sits across the hall from the kitchen. This space is a wet bath and gear closet combined. It’s not too fancy, but it gets the job done just fine! The rear of the Winnebago Revel contains a Power Lift Bed with a storage garage underneath. You can bring all your adventure gear on the road without cramming it into the living space. Finally, an exterior fold-down table completes the ensemble.

The Winnebego Revel has been a consistent favorite among RV fans, making it one of the best Class B RVs on the market today. For more details, check out the product page here.

Airstream Atlas: Sleek & Stylish

Our next Class B is larger and more luxurious. Airstream is one of the oldest names in the game, and they have created an innovative Class B RV that they’ve branded as a “B+ RV.” It’s longer and taller than many other camper vans, plus it has a slideout to expand the space.

The Airstream Atlas is 24 feet long and only has one floor plan. It includes some high-end features that are rare to see in an RV of this size. The slideout sits behind the driver’s cab and contains a fold-out sofa. There are openings in the floor that can hold removable tables in place. You can use one, both, or none, depending on your needs at the moment.

The sofa faces a media cabinet. This contains a 40-inch TV that can be raised and lowered at will. When the TV is not in use, this cabinet can function as an extra work surface or storage space.

The kitchen contains lots of special features, in addition to standard appliances. There’s a sink, a dual-burner stove, a microwave, a slide-out pantry, and a large refrigerator/freezer combo.

One of the most noteworthy features of the Airstream Atlas is the bathroom. This sits in the back corner of the floor plan and includes a shower, sink, medicine cabinet, and toilet. Unlike most Class B RVs, this is a dry bath (meaning the shower and toilet are in separate areas). The rear section also contains a closet and extra storage area.

This truly is one of the best Class B RVs out there. Airstream has created an ingenious product that combines comfort and utility. For more details about the Airstream Atlas, click here.

Thor Motorcoach Sequence: Comfortable & Multiple Floor Plans

Thor Motorcoach is another popular name in the RV world. They specialize in motorhomes and often make Class C and Class B models. They have a wide catalog to select from, and everyone has their personal favorites. We believe that the Sequence lineup contains some of the best Class B RVs, though!

There are 4 floor plans under the Sequence name. Many of them are quite similar to each other, but each one has a distinct feature or layout. There are some common threads between all the vehicles here. For instance, they all have a wet bath included in the layout. These baths are slightly larger in the 20K and 20L floor plans.

They also have similar kitchen amenities. Every Thor Motorcoach Sequence model has a sink, dual-burner stove, microwave, and refrigerator. Overhead cabinets are also included for extra storage space. The 20K has a larger fridge, while the 20L has an extendable cutting board.

When it comes to the bedroom, all but one of the floor plans have an expanding sleeper sofa. The 20A has a pull-out bed instead. There are various configurations of where everything is located, but any variation of the Sequence models can work well for customers.

Pleasure Way Tofino: Most Affordable Class B RV On The List

Finally, we have a small and economical Class B RV. At just over $85,000, this is one of the most affordable Class B RVs, making it perfect for travelers who are a bit short on cash. These models come with an expandable roof section, which contains a bunk and additional storage space.

These vehicles are 17 feet and 9 inches long, so they have to use their interior space wisely. The floor plan is effective and every area has a use. One wall is almost entirely occupied by the kitchen. This setup includes a sink, induction stove, refrigerator, and lots of storage space.

There’s also a manual sofa that can convert into a Queen-size bed. This sofa faces a table that can be removed as necessary. The top section of the RV can pop out, creating an additional bunk space. Sadly, there’s no bathroom included in this model, but that does free up space for the rest of the amenities.
