Celebrate Camping, Health, Arts, Sports, and Music in the Heart of Arizona
Arizona is set to host the second edition of a one-of-a-kind event. C.H.A.S.M.FEST, a destination gathering tailored for the active, creative, and adventurous, will offer an experience like no other to the RV and vanlife community over the Halloween weekend. This festival is designed to engage your mind, body, and soul with a full itinerary of activities that cater to all ages.
C.H.A.S.M.FEST Background and Location
C.H.A.S.M.FEST is scheduled to take place from the 28th to the 30th of October, 2023, at SARA Park in the city of Lake Havasu, Arizona. The region, famed for its mild winter weather, is a favored retreat for snowbirds and other tourists. The city’s geographical position also serves as a handy layover for those en route to Mexico, and it’s within a manageable five-hour drive from significant urban centers such as Tucson, Phoenix, Las Vegas, San Diego, and Los Angeles.
Camping, Health, Arts, Sports, and Music
C.H.A.S.M.FEST is not merely a congregation; it’s a jubilee of Camping, Health, Arts, Sports, and Music (C.H.A.S.M). Regardless of whether your mode of travel is a van, overlander, skoolie, RV, or you’re inclined towards tent camping, the event extends a warm welcome to everyone, young and young at heart.
The musical roster at C.H.A.S.M.FEST is set to showcase an eclectic mix of genres, including performances by the indie folk pair Fort Vine, the Red Hot Chili Peppers homage group Red Hot Tribute, and the dynamic band Sumptn’ Else.
In addition to music, the festival will provide a range of wellness activities like Goat Yoga, Meditation, Tai Chi, and Transformative Breathwork. For attendees looking for even more physically engaging activities, options such as disc golf, mountain biking, hiking, and more will be available.
Halloween Hoopla at C.H.A.S.M.FEST
C.H.A.S.M.FEST will host a Halloween Party and Costume Contest, complete with rewards. The “Tours and Treats” segment will offer festival-goers the chance to explore each other’s vehicles and exchange tales, beverages, and meals. A standout event is the yearly Witches Paddle, where attendees don witch and warlock attire and paddle board down the Bridgewater Channel, leading up to the iconic (and reassembled) London Bridge.
The festival also incorporates family-friendly activities into its lineup, ensuring that C.H.A.S.M.FEST is not only an adult-oriented gathering but also a fun and engaging experience for the younger crowd!
