Place warm water in a bowl and add yeast and sugar.
Mix and let stand for 10 minutes.
Add flour, oil, and salt to the bowl and beat until a smooth dough is formed. Let rest for five minutes.
Place a large cast iron skillet over medium-low heat.
On a floured surface, roll the pizza dough into a 12” circle.
Place the dough circle in the heated skillet and cover it with a lid.
After 3–4 minutes, turn the dough, replace the lid, and continue cooking for 2–3 minutes more.
Turn off the heat.
Flip the dough again, but leave it in the skillet.
Add your sauce, cheese, and toppings to the pizza dough and replace the lid to allow the cheese to melt.
When it’s done to your liking, serve and enjoy!
